Automatic expression recalculation

When the expression is dependent on a certain variable or function, it is useful to perform automatic expression recalculations when the variable or function is changed. Natural Calculator allows such actions. Expressions are automatically recalculated after a defined time interval or after the cursor removal from the formula (as defined in the settings).

Example:

In the next example, the variable is declared, then the expression appears, using this variable:

When the variable expression has changed, the second expression is also recalculated.

Expressions editing

Mathematical expressions are edited by ordinary keyboard typing using the "hot keys" combinations and (or) with the help of the mathematical toolbox. In addition, you can use the suggestion window, displaying all the available default and user expressions.

Here is a small editing tutorial.

Initially, the expression is represented by an empty line symbol:

This symbol means that you can replace it with necessary formula elements. The present symbol does not have any mathematical meaning. When trying to calculate an expression containing this symbol, an error message appears. Read more »
